Purpose and responsibility

Notifiable Breach helps organise facts, document reasoning and prepare draft reports. It does not provide legal advice, incident forensics, guaranteed compliance or an authoritative determination. You remain responsible for verifying facts, obtaining advice, assessing applicable laws and completing any notifications.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for incidents you are authorised to assess. Do not enter unnecessary personal information, credentials or malicious content. Do not attempt to access another account’s records or interfere with the service.

Accounts and payments

The initial five-question check is available without signing in. It does not save a case or provide a completed investigation. Sign in to create saved incident records and access reports.

Each account receives one free assessment. Where enabled, a paid credit starts one additional incident. Credits do not create a subscription. Deleting an incident does not restore its credit. Card payments are processed by Stripe; the application grants access only after payment verification. Refunded or disputed purchases may have unused credits revoked.

Reports and AI drafts

All outcomes and reports require human review. AI drafts can be incomplete or inaccurate. No report is submitted to the OAIC or sent to affected individuals by this service. User-entered notification dates do not independently verify delivery.

Before commercial use

The operator must approve pricing, tax treatment, refund and cancellation policies, support details, legal entity information and final customer terms. Nothing here is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.
